Following is an update from Kaye Wilson-Bolton regarding Ventura County. Let’s keep Kaye and Ventura County lifted up in prayer as they deal with the aftermath effects of the rain.
VENTURA COUNTY CRISIS…
“The worst problem is currently the one in LA CONCHITA –a tiny berg known for unstable hillsides and a troubled past just 10 years ago.
People, including children, are still trapped under houses. It is incredibly sad.
OJAI has lots of mud and running water. Getting in and out is a nightmare.
One route in will be out for months due to a huge sinkhole.
Homeowners used to driving 7 minutes to town, not have to drive about one hour, the long way around.
A fair amount of damage to crops, topsoil and water wells for the farming community.
One of my clients who owns a 28 acre citrus and avocado ranch, lost 2.5 acres of
young avocado trees to a tornado. No one remembers a tornado in FILLMORE.
I have been hearing people wonder if God is mad at us and why did God cause these problems.
Interesting that God is acknowledged. I wonder if, with those questions,
they were thanking God today for the sun and for safety, and for beds and clean water.
If they only knew how God wants to bless us.” from Kay Wilson-Bolton
